Irrigation

When you think of lawn care, you probably think of mowing and weeding. But there’s more to it than that. Your lawn needs water too. It’s an essential part of your landscape, and it can be a big task to keep up with the maintenance it needs.

That’s why you should consider investing in a sprinkler system for your lawn. A sprinkler system is also known as an irrigation system, and it can make a big difference in the way your yard looks and feels. Irrigating your lawn from an overhead sprinkler system can help keep the grass lush and green all year round, but there are several things to take into consideration before installing one.

Lawn irrigation systems come in many shapes and sizes depending on what type of property you have and how much area you need to cover.

An irrigation system is designed to deliver water to your landscape plants at the right time and in the right amount. There are several types of irrigation systems that can be used to water your lawn. The most common types are sprinkler systems and drip systems.

Sprinkler systems use a sprinkler that rotates as it sprays water over an area. Drip irrigation systems deliver water directly to your plants’ roots. There are pros and cons to both systems. Sprinkler systems use more water, but they’re easier to set up and maintain. Drip systems are more efficient and cost less to operate because they use less water.

An automatic sprinkler system will save you a lot of time and effort. It will schedule a routine watering cycle and cut down on the amount of time you need to spend on lawn maintenance.

By hiring a contactor, you are ensuring you will receive a professionally designed and installed system. We will provide you with the correct product for each unique application and ensure it is installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Drip irrigation systems deliver water directly to the roots of your plants. This decreases the amount of water lost to evaporation which increases the system efficiency. Drip irrigation systems are best used for gardens that are primarily comprised of perennial plants. Micro drip systems can also be designed to water hanging baskets and potted plants.

In- Ground sprinkler systems can cover larger areas and require a higher pressure water source than drip systems. There are two types of sprinklers: Rotors and Spray Heads. Rotors water larger turf areas and rotate as they apply water to the landscape. Spray heads water smaller turf areas and gardens using adjustable nozzles to minimize overspray.

We use only high efficiency controllers and sensors from Hunter Industries. The controllers use Hydrawise Irrigation Software which provide system schedule updates based on actual weather patterns. Hydrawise also allows for remote control of the system on a smart phone, tablet or computer.
